Responsible for the leadership and administration of all aspects of the academic operations of the College, including budget and fund development. 

  • Oversees College academic budget (this includes over 2600 seats at the University of Alberta, 9 tenured/tenure track faculty, 20 sessionals, 40-50 University of Alberta Arts option classes per year, Academic staff, Library and Library budget/library staff)

    • Lead strong enrolment growth, 14%

  • Represents St. Joseph's College to the University of Alberta and to external strategic partners where academic programs are involved.

  • Voting member on the General Faculties Council: University of Alberta

  • Voting member: Arts Faculty Council: University of Alberta

  • Chairs the Faculty Education Committee: in consolation with colleagues makes final recommendation on tenure cases and yearly merit based increments

  • Cheque signing and payroll signing for the entire College (kitchen staff, campus ministry staff, two students residences and staff serving over 300 students)

  • Acting President when the President is away.

    • (Maintenance, Development, Campus Ministry, Academics, Library, Residence), bank deposits, major payments, PAD signing authority, super user access for bank signing authority.

    • Running all presidency functions.

    • Continuing to run Academic Dean Office

2014-2015: Chair of Institutional Accreditation Self-Study Project (Associated Theological Schools Accreditation) 
Preparing St. Mark’s College for next stage of a year long process: project management, creating timelines, selecting teams, working with President’s office on strategies, leading workshops for each section, and leading offices responsible for sections of the accreditation commentary, gathering all data/reports and making it cohesive for the president’s office.

Metric: Designed and implemented: a successful two stream deacon program model tracking both credit and non-credit students, designed the funded Hanrahan Scholar in Residence Program, designed and lead Vatican II symposium, designed the Chancellor’s Lecture Series (4 lectures over one semester), drafted 60 page student handbook.

2015-2017 Convener: West Coast Biblical Literature Colloquium with Dr. Robert Cousland (UBC); Dr. Harry Maier (VST). Organizing one lecture per semester with a main paper and main respondent, oscillating between HB/OT and NT topics, gathering speakers and respondents from: Vancouver School of Theology, Regent, Carey, St. Mark's, Trinity Western, and UBC.
